Who you are: This role is for a business-builder who can hunt, farm, and own a territory. You'll grow Pelsue's presence across the Western Region by deepening relationships with existing distributor and customer partners and by prospecting and closing new accounts for both Industrial Safety and fiber splicing vehicle solutions. Day-to-day, you'll be on the road meeting customers, running demos, providing product training, and turning real-world needs into practical, profitable solutions. You'll generate demand through trade shows and targeted outreach, stay sharp on competitors and market dynamics, and keep opportunities moving with consistent CRM updates and cross-functional coordination.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the Western Region territory plan and execute strategies to grow revenue across Industrial Safety and Fiber Splicing vehicle solutions (trailers, inserts, vans).
- Develop new business through prospecting, lead follow-up, targeted outreach, and trade show/event participation; qualify opportunities and close new accounts.
- Maintain and expand existing customer and distributor relationships through regular touchpoints, site visits, and account development plans.
- Identify customer needs and recommend practical, profitable solutions; prepare quotes, proposals, and supporting documentation to move opportunities to close.
- Conduct customer site visits to perform product demonstrations and provide product training on Pelsue solutions.
- Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Production/Operations, and Leadership) to ensure accurate product configuration, realistic timelines, and an exceptional customer experience from inquiry through delivery.
- Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline in the CRM, including timely updates, activity tracking, forecasting, and documentation of customer interactions.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor products, and pricing/positioning; communicate insights and recommend differentiation strategies to support growth and market share gains.
- Support brand awareness initiatives by representing Pelsue professionally in the field, at industry events, and through consistent follow-up and responsiveness.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns by coordinating internally and communicating clearly to drive timely, customer-focused outcomes.
- Continuously build product knowledge and improve sales skills through ongoing learning, coaching, and staying current on product updates and industry trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department and company objectives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office setting while not traveling to customers or show sites. When not traveling, the employee is expected to be at the office. We believe this helps build a high performing cohesive team. The employee also works at customer and show locations which may be inside or outside in a variety of climates.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work while in the office are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. When not traveling, the employee is expected to work at the Pelsue office. During travel, work outside of normal work hours may be required.
TRAVEL
Variable, up to 40% at times. Customer site visits & tradeshows.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree is preferred. B2B sales and customer service experience required. Manufacturer-to-distributor sales experience strongly desired. A valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) are required.
